Located at the Commodore Resort, MIST is open to both guests of the Commodore and visitors and is exclusively 21+ during the summer. Local and regional DJ’s spin all weekend long to the tune of the two waterfalls cascading into the pool. The pool itself is 2000 square feet of climate controlled refreshment. Every night during the season features a beautiful light show.

The swim up bar is full service with amazing handcrafted cocktails. Grab a seat in the water and enjoy your drink before diving back in the pool. The water is always perfectly tempered and clean with a state-of-the-art filtration system.

Reserve one of the cabanas lining the pool or lie out on one of the lounge chairs. Lounge chairs are reserved for hotel guest only and are on a “first come first serve basis.”

This is the perfect spot to relax and work on your tan with drink in hand of course. When you need to cool off, dive into the pool and horse around with your friends. Weekdays are relaxed and chill while weekends really turn up the heat.

After working up an appetite in the pool or simply lounging by the pool, grab lunch at one of the many nearby offerings. Subway is located in the lobby of the Commodore and serves up its classic footlongs, chips, and cookies.

Mr. Ed’s Bar and Grill is right next door. This island favorite was home to their famous Chicken Chunks, loaded with white queso cheese and bacon bites. Now they have a full menu withsubs, salads, and pizzas. Cameo Pizza also just took up residence at Mr. Ed’s. This long-time island tradition serves up some of the best pizza on South Bass.

The Commodore Resort
