Little Galley

A favorite with families and boaters alike, the Little Galley is located on the main deck at The Boardwalk Family of Restaurants. They serve up mouthwatering Black Angus Burgers, Quarter-pound Hot Dogs, White Meat Chicken Strips and French Fries all summer long!

The Boardwalk Family of Restaurants contains five restaurants and two bars in their two-tiered building. Located on the harbor, this open air building features beautiful lake views, delicious cocktails, live music, and delicious food.

The Little Galley and Boardwalk Details

The Little Galley is situated on the main deck making it an easy stop for a quick bite. The Boardwalk itself is minutes from the Jet Express Terminal as well as several public docks. Everyone who comes to Put-in-Bay ends up at the Boardwalk eventually!

The culinary delights are many but the centerpiece is most certainly the world famous Lobster Bisque, which is available to order from all three of the main deck concession stands. Rich, creamy, and absolutely delectable, this is Lobster Bisque at its finest.

The Family of Restaurants

The main deck is home to three restaurants, including the Little Galley. Each of these three spots are well priced and perfect for the whole family.

Fish Shak

This friendly restaurant features regional catch of fresh, Hand-Breaded Lake Erie Perch and Walleye Sandwiches & Baskets. The fish is fried golden brown and served with lettuce, tomato, tartar sauce, and lemon.

Book’s Seafood

Book’s serves an eclectic menu with a mouthwatering variety of grilled Fish Sandwich Platters, as well as deli sandwiches, wraps and fresh crunchy salads. They also feature gourmet seafood favorites: Alaskan King Crab, Maine lobster, Key West shrimp and New Zealand mussels.

Two bars are also located right on the main deck close to The Little Galley. There’s nothing more pleasant than sipping on a glass of wine or beer and taking in the sights of Lake Erie.

The Burgee Bar

The Burgee Bar is known for their delicious handmade Frozen or our Signature Riptide Rum Punch! Try one of their Specialty Cocktails or choose from a big selection of bottled and draft Beer. Live entertainment plays every weekend during the summer months right across from the bar. A lovely place to sit back and relax.

Claw Daddy’s

This casual, pleasant bar has a designated smoking section and is located right on the water. Great view, great drinks, great atmosphere.

The Upper Deck

Head upstairs for a more upscale experience. The Upper Deck opened in 2007 includes tableside service. Dine on steaming bowl of Lobster Bisque or select something equally delicious from their full menu. Chow down on everything from juicy burgers to prime rib. Round out your meal with an expertly mixed cocktail. They have a full martini menu right out of a James Bond film.

Rita’s cantina

Looking for something on the spicy side? Nachos and tacos are served with delicious frozen margaritas for a south-of-the-border flair. Rita’s Cantina even offers the largest selection of tequila on the island. It is also known as The Bachelorette Headquarters so come by and ask about specials for your girls weekend!
